Bougouriba: Bakary Jo«l Sanou Succeeds Seni Kientega as Head of the CEB of Dolo

Bougouriba: The official handover ceremony between the outgoing head of the Basic Education District (CEB) and the new head of the CEB of Dolo was held this Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in the town hall meeting room. The ceremony was held under the chairmanship of the Prefect of the department and President of the Special Delegation of the commune of Dolo, Ilassa Ouedraogo, in the presence of administrative authorities, social partners, actors in the educational world as well as the populations of the commune.

According to Burkina Information Agency, on this occasion, Seni Kientega, the outgoing Head of the CEB (Basic Education Commission), officially passed the torch to Bakary Jo«l Sanou, his successor. The various speakers praised the work accomplished by the outgoing official, whose tenure at the head of the CEB was marked by commitment, management, and determination to improve the quality of education in the district.

In his address, Seni Kientega expressed his gratitude to all his colleagues, technical and social partners for the support he received throughout his mission. He also encouraged his successor to continue the efforts undertaken, in a spirit of openness, responsibility, and leadership.

Taking the floor in turn, Bakary Jo«l Sanou, the new Head of the Dolo CEB (Basic Education Center), thanked the authorities for the trust placed in him. He pledged to consolidate the achievements, continue ongoing projects, strengthen collaboration with all education stakeholders, and promote participatory, effective, and results-oriented governance.

Closing the ceremony, Prefect Ilassa Ouedraogo commended the spirit of responsibility and continuity that characterized this handover. He reiterated the fundamental role of education in local development and urged the new official to demonstrate attentiveness, availability, and dynamism in addressing the educational challenges facing the municipality.

The ceremony ended in an atmosphere of fraternity, recognition, and collective mobilization to support the new CEB leadership team in service of education in Dolo.
