Boulgou: The written examinations for the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) 2026 session have officially commenced at the Komto¨ga departmental high school. A total of 140 candidates, consisting of 86 girls and 54 boys, are participating at this secondary center, which is linked to the Garango examination board.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the official launch was overseen by Mariama Nakouari, President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Komto¨ga, in room no. 1 of the departmental high school. The ceremony was attended by Chief Warrant Officer Mamadou Traor©, representing the commander of the territorial gendarmerie brigade of Niaogho, Baba Ouattara, president of the center, and other members of the Special Delegation and surveillance staff.

Ms. Nakouari, after opening the envelope containing the first test, encouraged the candidates to engage with the essays with calmness, discipline, and confidence. The Komto¨ga center, hosting 140 candidates this year, plays a role in organizing the exam, which is a significant milestone in the students' academic journey.

Center officials have stated that necessary measures are in place to ensure the exams proceed smoothly and meet all required standards. At the conclusion of the official launch, the President of the Special Delegation wished the candidates well, advising them to stay focused, draw upon their knowledge, and maintain composure throughout the examination process.
