Boulgou: Civilians and security forces worked together to clean the Bittou town hall. The population of the commune of Bittou, in collaboration with the Defense and Security Forces, initiated a civil-military sanitation day on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Bittou town hall, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, early in the morning, the sons and daughters of the commune of Bittou, officials from the services, and the Defense and Security Forces, equipped with hoes and machetes, moved into the courtyard of the Bittou town hall to clean this communal public place.

The objective of the cleanup activity within the municipal administration is to strengthen ties between civilians and the Defense and Security Forces and to reinforce social cohesion. It also aims to encourage the combat forces in their mission to reclaim territory and to leave a lasting impression on the members of the National Gendarmerie from Bittou who will be joining the municipality of Yargatenga in Koulpelogo province in the coming days, explained Moubarik Guessongo, president of the Bittou municipal citizen watch group.

Mr. Guessongo thanked the population and the security forces for the joint initiative.
