Boulgou: The Association Group for Peace, Integrity and Development (GPID) handed over two tons of cement this Saturday in Tenkodogo to the Faso Mebo brigade located in sector 6. This donation is part of the support for the work of the presidential initiative in the Nakambe region.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the GPID reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the security forces and accompanying local development initiatives by providing cement to the Faso Mebo initiative. The deputy commander of the brigade, Warrant Officer Inoussa Kanazoe, expressed his gratitude to the GPID for this support, which, he noted, contributes to strengthening the operational capacities of the structure.
He specified that while this donation of cement constitutes significant support, there is still a need for sand, granite, sikalite, diesel, gloves, and oil, inputs deemed essential for the progress of the work. "Thanks to these contributions, we can draw up a positive assessment and achieve concrete results on the ground," he said.
For his part, the president of GPID, Mr. Lassane Baguian, recalled that his organization is a national association which brings together workers from the public and private sectors, all committed to the harmonious and sustainable development of Burkina Faso. He stressed that any citizen who respects the statutes and regulations can join the association, whose vocation is to promote peace, integrity, and national solidarity.
Mr. Baguian also announced the GPID's upcoming activities, including a blood drive for the National Blood Transfusion Center and a reforestation campaign to contribute to environmental protection and improving the living environment of the population.
