Boulkiemde Chief Donates Over 3 Million CFA Francs to Support Faso Mebo Initiative


Boulkiemde: The head of the canton of Lalle, LalleNaaba Djiguemde, reaffirmed his adherence and that of his community to the Faso Mebo presidential initiative with a large donation in kind and cash. The chief, accompanied by his notables, personally visited the site on Saturday to materialize his commitment to the development of the cities of Nando.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the gesture of solidarity from LalleNaaba Djiguemde and his notables is estimated at more than 3 million CFA francs. The in-kind donation specifically included 13 tons of cement, 10 bags of rice, 10 bags of corn, 10 pickaxes, 15 shovels, a sand trip, and two 30 kg pots. This substantial support aims to accompany and encourage the workers mobilized on the initiative site.



Naaba Djiguemde expressed his satisfaction with the call of the Head of State for the Faso Mebo initiative. His visit was intended to encourage and congratulate all the workers present on the site, which opened on October 10 in the Nando region. He took the opportunity to launch a vibrant appeal to the population to get more involved in the development of the country. He also urged the sons and daughters of the locality to unite and show solidarity for the development of the region.
