Bouloum-Nabyiri Schools Achieve 100% Pass Rate in Primary School Leaving Certificate

Abuja: The Bouloum-Nabyiri daughters and sons association celebrated academic excellence on Saturday, July 25, as Bouloum-Nabyiri A and B primary schools achieved a 100% pass rate in the Primary School Certificate (CEP) for the 2026 session.According to Burkina Information Agency, both schools saw all their candidates succeed, with 45 students from school A and 29 from school B passing the exam. To commemorate this achievement, the association rewarded the top students from each of the nine classes across both schools. The top five students in each class received school bags equipped with a complete kit, while the top boy and girl were each awarded a new bicycle as a symbol of encouragement for their perseverance and excellence.The association's president, Ousseni Kaboré, along with colleagues Sotissi Kaborand Seydou Kaboré, emphasized the importance of parental involvement in education to combat school dropout rates and foster a strong moral, ethical, and social foundation. They also expressed their comm itment to continuing this initiative and potentially expanding it to include teachers in the future.Certificates recognizing their dedication to education were presented to the principals of the two schools, the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), Comrade Paul Marie Zoma, and the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune, Comrade Kouna Yvette Saré. In a bid to promote environmental protection, the association also donated seedlings to the schools and the Health and Social Promotion Centre (CSPS) of Bouloum-Nabyiri.Inspector Léonce Ouedraogo, representing the CCEB, lauded the initiative as exemplary and urged community members to sustain it. He noted that the Ramongo CEB achieved a 97.95% pass rate on the CEP this year and invited support for the upcoming communal academic excellence awards. He also commended the teachers' dedication and encouraged students to continue their hard work, urging parents to be more supportive of their children's education.Through this celebration, Bou loum-Nabyiri showcases the power of community unity in driving success. By making excellence a shared value and education a collective responsibility, the village is setting the stage for a bright future where every child can achieve their potential, contributing to the development of their community and Burkina Faso.
