Burkina: Administrative executives trained in compliance with standards for drafting reports submitted to the Council of Ministers

The Minister in charge of Health, Dr Robert Kargougou, chaired on Tuesday in Ouagadougou, a training session for public administration executives, which aims to "avoid fundamental and form noted in the reports submitted to the Council of Ministers”.

"With the great mobility of personnel within ministerial departments and institutions, the need to strengthen the capacities of new actors is essential to avoid the shortcomings of substance and form observed in the reports introduced in the Council of Ministers", indicated Tuesday the minister in charge of health Dr Robert Kargougou.

According to Minister Kargougou, “the documents intended for the Council of Ministers, to be adopted, must follow a process and respect drafting standards”.

Mr. Kargougou chaired Tuesday on behalf of the Prime Minister, a training session initiated by the General Secretariat of the Government and the Council of Ministers. He delivered the message of the head of government.

He indicated that this training session specifically aims to improve the organization and quality of government work as well as the knowledge and responsibility of executives in crisis situations.

"It also aims to improve the knowledge of executives on the objectives of the transition and the priorities of the government and to strengthen the leadership and management of the various officials of the public administration", affirmed Minister Kargougou.

This training is in line with a series of training initiated by the government since 2022 for the benefit of public administration executives.
