Ouagadougou: A delegation from the Youth Council of the Alliance of Sahel States (CJ.AES), led by its president Isma«l Sawadogo, presented the new structure to the Mogho Naaba of Ouagadougou on Tuesday, seeking his support to effectively carry out the council's activities. "We traveled to the Mogho Naaba to present our structure to him and ask for His Majesty's support and blessings to succeed in our mission," stated Isma«l Sawadogo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the CJ.AES was established from the desire of its members to contribute to the creation of a sovereign and peaceful environment, as advocated by the presidents of Faso, Mali, and Niger. Sawadogo emphasized the importance of contributing ideas and energy to support the heads of state in this mission.
The visit concluded with the young members of the AES expressing their satisfaction with the "rich advice" provided by the Mogho Naaba. The traditional leader encouraged the youth to prioritize patriotism, discipline, and honesty in their endeavors. The AES members have committed to implementing these guiding principles in their activities.
Formed in March 2024, the Youth Council of the Sahel States Alliance (CJ.AES) / Burkina Faso section is focused on promoting development and integration in the Sahel region. It also aims to enhance awareness of peace and coexistence within the community.
