Burkina/CEP Session 2025: Minister Jacques Sosth¨ne Dingara Encourages Stakeholders in Bobo-Dioulasso

Bobo-Dioulasso: Minister Jacques Sosth¨ne Dingara visited Bobo-Dioulasso to encourage stakeholders involved in organizing the upcoming 2025 Primary School Certificate (CEP) exams. This visit, conducted on Monday, June 2, was aimed at ensuring the smooth progression of preparations for the exams.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the minister visited two key composition centers in the Hauts-Bassins region: the central schools of Bobo-Dioulasso and the National Institute for Training of Education Personnel. These visits were part of an effort to assess the readiness of the facilities.

Fanta Traor©, head of the Bobo 1 Basic Education District (CEB), stated that all ten composition centers under her jurisdiction are prepared. She confirmed that each candidate has been informed of their designated composition table and the rooms are set to welcome them at 6 a.m. the following day. Traor© expressed appreciation for the minister's visit and committed to delivering promising results.

Raoul Tuina, the provincial director of preschool, primary and non-formal education in Houet, revealed that tests have already been distributed to the 21 CEBs in the province. He reported a total of 35,646 candidates participating across 186 composition centers, overseen by 52 juries.

Minister Dingara concluded his tour by expressing satisfaction with the preparations. He acknowledged the rigorous organization and extended a message of unity and encouragement to all educational stakeholders, while wishing the candidates success in their exams.
