Ouagadougou: The Burkinabe government has authorized the acquisition of a real estate complex consisting of two buildings, one with five stories and the other with four, for the needs of the public administration. The transaction, valued at 3 billion CFA francs, was approved during the Council of Ministers meeting.According to Burkina Information Agency, the complex features a total usable area of 4,055.93 square meters and includes 85 rooms. The property is equipped with a generator, a borehole, and various other facilities. The acquisition aims to enhance the real estate capabilities of the State and reduce costs associated with administrative leases.The buildings are located in sector 30 of Ouagadougou and are expected to contribute significantly to streamlining the administration's operational infrastructure. As noted in the Council of Ministers' report, the government had previously authorized the purchase of an 11-story building with a basement in December 2023 to optimize rental expenditures.The government has emphasized that these acquisitions are part of a strategic initiative to save on rental costs and improve the efficiency of public administration facilities.
