Ouagadougou: The Ministry of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training (MESFPT) has launched an interactive application for monitoring the careers of agents, which has enabled the processing and transmission of 2,256 administrative documents in less than a month of experimentation, Minister Moumouni Zoungrana announced on Monday.According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative aims to modernize human resources management and bring the administration closer to its employees. The head of the department highlighted the ministry's efforts to facilitate career monitoring and establish direct communication with field actors, achieved through a modern tool developed by their technical services.The application operates through a triangular interactive device consisting of three platforms: a Facebook page named "DRH MESFPT", a WhatsApp channel, and an email address dedicated to personalized requests. This system is designed to improve the management of individual files, reduce travel for staff , and enhance access to administrative services.Following a month-long trial, the platform's results have been deemed satisfactory, attracting 1,739 subscribers on its Facebook page, 5,128 on its WhatsApp channel, and 7,453 active users on WhatsApp. Minister Zoungrana emphasized that career management is a major priority for his department, noting the importance of secure processing of files in supporting employees' career paths.The processed documents pertain to advancement acts, tenure orders, decisions on class advancement, reclassification, and integration. The minister also reported significant progress in processing administrative files. As of March 21, 2026, 30,360 out of 34,161 received files have been processed, representing a completion rate of 88.87%. The remaining 3,801 files are expected to be cleared by the end of May 2026.For Minister Zoungrana, these achievements reflect the agents' interest in this innovative tool and offer promising prospects for digitalization and efficiency in human resource management within the MESFPT.
