Ouagadougou: Four national organizations, including Globex Construction, the Human Project firm, the SONAR Group, and the Caisse des D©p´ts et d'Investissements (CDI), have come together to provide scholarships to 63 deserving students at Thomas Sankara University (UTS). This initiative is aimed at supporting internally displaced students and those who have shown exceptional academic performance, allowing them to continue their education amidst challenging circumstances.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the scholarships were awarded to a total of 63 students, with 45 allocated to internally displaced students and 18 to those recognized for their academic achievements. The President of Thomas Sankara University, Professor T. Didier Zoungrana, expressed his gratitude for this gesture of solidarity, highlighting the partners' dedication to nurturing the country's human capital. He encouraged the students to use this support wisely and to strive for excellence in their studies.

Brama Sako, the commercial director of SONAR IARD, spoke on behalf of the partners, emphasizing the importance of education as a tool for social transformation. He described the scholarships not only as financial aid but also as a message of belief in the students' potential to overcome challenges. Sako underscored the partners' commitment to investing in a just and resilient society.

Cyril Balima, a student of private and business law, represented the beneficiaries and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the donors. He assured them that the support would lead to tangible results and pledged to contribute to the development of Burkina Faso through their academic success. Balima highlighted the scholarships' role in fostering values of patriotism, responsibility, and civic engagement among students.
