Burkina Faso’s Prime Minister Inaugurates Key Infrastructures in Bobo-Dioulasso


Bobo-dioulasso: The Burkinabe Prime Minister, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo, arrived in the economic capital for a working visit focused on inaugurating and commissioning several socio-economic infrastructures.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the Prime Minister’s visit includes the official opening of the Bobo-Dioulasso Regional Vocational Training Centre. This modern infrastructure is designed to enhance the technical skills of young people in various trades, thereby contributing to the workforce development in the region.



The visit also marks the inauguration of a new Postal Bank branch in Bobo-Dioulasso. This initiative aims to improve the accessibility of financial services to the local population and support economic inclusion within the community.



Additionally, the Prime Minister will operationalize the National Centre for Support to the Artisanal Transformation of Cotton (CNATAC). This strategic facility is intended to boost local cotton processing and promote the Burkinabe textile sector, furthering economic growth within the industry.



During his stay, the Prime Minister will chair a meeting between the government and the private sector and hold discussions with prominent figures in the region. This visit to the Guiriko region underscores the government’s commitment to stimulating regional economic development, job creation, and advancing the structural transformation of the national economy.
