Ouahigouya: Police have successfully apprehended the individual responsible for a brutal attack on a woman at the Ouahigouya University Hospital. The attacker, who used a pickaxe to assault his sister-in-law, was captured by officers from the Bokin District Police Station.According to Burkina Information Agency, the suspect, a man in his twenties, initially evaded capture after inflicting severe injuries on the victim. The victim was immediately transported to the Ouahigouya Regional University Hospital for urgent medical attention.The arrest was made possible due to the assistance provided by local citizens. Police officials have confirmed that the suspect will face legal proceedings for his actions. Meanwhile, the victim survived the attack after undergoing a surgical procedure performed by the medical team at the hospital.
