Burkina: Police Chief Warrant Officer Brahima Dougouri retires from his elite unit at the front

Police Chief Warrant Officer Brahima Dougouri, nicknamed Zambla, retired from the front, within the elite unit of the 11th Mobile Intervention Unit Group (GUMI-11) and was decorated with the National Police Medal of Honor.Brahima Dougouri served in 10 different positions before ending up in the elite police unit engaged in combat when he reached retirement age.For his good and loyal services rendered to the Nation, for 34 years, he received a distinction in recognition of his dedication and loyalty, reports the communication services of the national police.During his career as a police officer, he served in ten different positions. He thus ended his career at the front, in the theater of operations within the 11th Group of Mobile Intervention Units (GUMI-11), he added.Affectionately called Papy Zambla by his relatives, Chief Warrant Officer Dougouri saw his rich and loyal services recognized by the police institution which awarded him the National Police Medal of Honor, reports the same source.On Oc tober 5, the official date marking his retirement, a tribute ceremony was organized to recognize his rich and exemplary career.Source: Burkina Information Agency
