The Burkinabè head of state, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, arrived on Saturday morning around 8 a.m. in the city of Pô, noted an AIB journalist.

He was welcomed by the Living Forces of the region headed by the governor of the Center-South region Yvette Nacoulma, and a large population came out to cheer him on.

In the city of Pô, the captain will preside in the evening, the official exit of the 22nd class of active cadets from the Georges Namoano Military Academy in Pô.

A meeting with the Living Forces of the region is also planned around 9:30 am.
