The famous healer Adja Amsetou, whose execution of the warrant of committal has created great tensions, will finally be imprisoned at the House of Arrest and Correction of the Armed Forces (MACA), pending her judgment, announced the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Ouagadougou.

As a reminder, justice wishes to hear the famous healer of Komsilga, for a case of violent beatings inflicted on a citizen by elements of his security.

His non-incarceration at the Ouagadougou Remand and Correctional Center (MACO) as first decided, had prompted condemnations from justice actors and other structures.

The Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Ouagadougou informs the public that Mrs. NIKIEMA Larissa known as Adja Amsetou who has been the subject of a warrant of deposit at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Faso at the High Court of Ouaga 2 , on Friday July 28, 2023, will be imprisoned at the MACA Armed Prison and Correctional Center at his request, pending the date of his judgment.

The Attorney General invites the Director of the Ouagadougou House of Remand and Correction to proceed with the implementation of this decision.
