Under the leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré, all decisions in Burkina Faso are taken freely in complete sovereignty without the interference of any power, Prime Minister Apollinaire Kyelem assured Monday of Tambèla which does not, however, guarantee that it will always be like this, after the Transition.
“Since (the start of) President Traoré’s governance, no power can interfere in the decisions we make. The decisions that are made are made freely and with complete sovereignty. We could be wrong but we take them freely for the interest of Burkina Faso and our people. On this level I can guarantee you that the political sovereignty of Burkina Faso is full and complete,” said Me Apollinaire Kyelem of Tambèla.
The Burkinabè Prime Minister spoke Monday morning at the Prime Minister’s Office, after the raising of the flag.
“I cannot guarantee that it will always be like this because after the Transition, everything will depend on those who come after. If they do not have the same motivation, imperialism could perhaps return in an even stronger way,” continued Mr. Kyelem.
