Key discussion points include trade, investment, food and energy security, and state sovereignty. Additionally, the Economic and Humanitarian Forum will cover topics such as industrial development, technology transfer, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, nuclear energy's peaceful uses, health, education, and training.
Leading the Burkinabe delegation, the Prime Minister will focus on presenting national priorities to promote projects related to resource processing, technology mastery, and youth training. These efforts are intended to enhance Burkina Faso's productive capacities and economic sovereignty.
In addition to the summit, the Prime Minister will engage in bilateral talks and hold meetings to strengthen partnerships for security and development in Burkina Faso. This participation is part of ongoing efforts to bolster relations between Ouagadougou and Moscow, underscored by the Agreement on the Foundations of Relations signed on February 12, 2026. It demonstrates Burkina Faso's commitment to diversifying partnerships while maintaining national sovereignty and addressing security, humanitarian, and development challenges.
