Djibo: The centers in the province of Soum hosted the certification assessment tests in literacy of Non-Formal Education (NFE), with educational and municipal authorities present to encourage candidates and oversee the session.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was presided over by Hamidou Ciss©, the provincial director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Soum. Aminata Dicko, the 2nd Vice-President of the Special Delegation of Djibo, was also present, along with members of the internal security forces. The event aimed to ensure a smooth and orderly process for the assessments.
During the occasion, the provincial director visited several centers to monitor the proceedings and gain insight into the realities faced during this certification session. Authorities expressed their appreciation for the efforts of those involved in organizing the assessments, including supervisors, facilitators, technical teams, and partners dedicated to literacy efforts.
They also acknowledged the candidates' dedication to acquiring knowledge through non-formal education, recognizing it as a significant factor in promoting local development.
