Banfora: The Governor of the Cascades region, Florent Badabou¨ Bazi©, officially launched the Primary School Certificate (CEP) exam and the 6th grade entrance exam at the Flantama Nord 'A' school in Banfora.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the 2025 CEP session in the Cascades region has a total of 13,946 candidates, comprising 7,357 girls and 6,589 boys. The Flantama Nord 'A' school in Banfora was chosen for the official commencement of the written tests. Governor Bazi©, alongside administrative and security authorities, initiated the exams by opening the envelope containing the first subject, which was an editorial task.

On behalf of the country's highest authorities, Governor Bazi© extended good luck wishes to the candidates, emphasizing the importance of inspiration during the exams. He acknowledged the resilience of stakeholders amidst difficulties and reforms in the education system, expressing hope for improved results compared to the previous year.

Governor Bazi© also commended the efforts of those involved in ensuring the smooth execution of the exams. The Regional Director of Basic Education, Literacy and Promotion of National Languages, Anselme Dari DA, confirmed the readiness of the entire system, ensuring that exams are proceeding as planned. He highlighted the significant role the combat forces played in securing the examination centers, allowing all candidates in the Cascades region to take their exams in their respective localities.

Mr. DA expressed gratitude to the combat forces for their role in facilitating the examinations' smooth conduct in the region.
