Ouagadougou: The citizen watch of Bomborokuy organized a reforestation day at the Basic Education District (CEB) site, aiming to restore vegetation cover and improve the living environment within administrative services.

According to Burkina Information Agency, several seedlings were planted by members of the Citizen Watch group with support from volunteers. This initiative is part of broader efforts to protect the environment and combat deforestation effects. Ren© Zibiri, president of the citizen watch group, highlighted that the activity addresses a significant environmental concern, aiming to counter advanced vegetation degradation.

Zibiri emphasized the importance of raising awareness among the population about reforestation, encouraging community involvement in environmental protection. Participants praised the initiative, urging the community to safeguard the young plants for their growth and the project’s success.
