Namentenga: "Do not give in to treachery, the end of the tunnel is near," commander of the Cheetah unit. The High Commissioner and President of the Civil Society of Namentenga Province, Adama Conseiga, presided over the official flag-raising ceremony at the Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF). During the event, the commander of the Cheetah Unit, Lieutenant Gerard Sindogo, encouraged the population to "remain resilient and not succumb to treachery," asserting that the end of the tunnel is near.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this flag-raising ceremony is part of the first phase of the third edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC). The Federation of Evangelical Churches and Missions (FEME) took the opportunity to present a sum of 100,000 FCFA, supporting the fighting forces on the ground.
Lieutenant Gerard Sindogo expressed gratitude to the donor and reiterated the call for resilience, emphasizing that the end of the tunnel is near. High Commissioner Adama Conseiga acknowledged the strong mobilization of the constituted bodies and encouraged the population to donate blood to aid patients at the Medical Center with surgical unit (CMA) of Boulsa.
Mr. Conseiga also advised public and private sector employees to participate in their medical examination, scheduled from April 13 to 17 at the Boulsa Urban Health and Social Promotion Centre (CSPS). He commended the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education, Ouiraogo Bernard Kabore, for the organization of the ceremony, and the students for their execution of the Ditany¨ in the national language Moore.
The province's top official concluded by stressing the importance of solidarity and highlighted the theme of the first phase of the 3rd edition of the JEPPC: "My plate, my pride."
