Customs Officers in Goulmou Strengthen Support for Faso M¨bo Initiative

Gourma: Customs officers in the Goulmou region made a significant donation to the Faso M¨bo agency of Fada N'Gourma, as part of the citizen mobilization in support of development actions. The association of customs agents contributed 80 tons of granite and a financial sum of one million CFA francs, emphasizing their commitment to local development.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the customs officers also engaged in hands-on activities by participating in the laying of paving stones at the site. David Onadja, the association's spokesperson, highlighted that this contribution aligns with national efforts to support initiatives launched by the country's highest authorities.

"Our actions are in response to the call of the Head of State. Customs is made up of Burkinab¨ citizens. As such, we cannot remain on the sidelines of the will of the authorities who have chosen the path of sovereignty," Onadja explained. This initiative is seen as a demonstration of patriotic commitment, showing support for collective efforts aimed at promoting local development and citizen participation.

The donation and active involvement of the customs officers bolster the ongoing activities at the Faso M¨bo site in Fada N'Gourma, where various socio-professional groups are uniting to support the development work.
