Tapoa: The special municipal delegation of Diapaga equips Health and Social Promotion Centers 1 and 2 with equipment. The special delegation of Diapaga officially handed over, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, medical equipment and tools with a total value of 13,793,610 CFA francs, including 9,796,950 CFA francs for medical-technical equipment and tools, and 3,996,660 CFA francs for office furniture. With this gesture, the special delegation in Diapaga intends to contribute to improving the working conditions of staff and to better care for patients. This donation also includes 12 beds equipped with mattresses and hygiene kits.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the prefect, who also heads the special delegation of Diapaga, stated that the transfer of assets, resources, and responsibilities to the two urban primary healthcare centers (CSPS 1 and 2) placed under the jurisdiction of the Diapaga municipality is part of a larger transfer of assets, resources, and responsibilities. The influx of displaced persons recorded between 2019 and 2025 overwhelmed the first CSPS, necessitating the construction and equipping of CSPS 2.

Prefect Yambi Bamogo continued, affirming that the Diapaga Special Delegation's commitment to the most vulnerable is total and tangible. "We are engaged in several areas despite the economic downturn caused by insecurity. In vital sectors, we are working to guarantee the population's access to healthcare, education, and culture," he emphasized.

This donation deeply moved the two top students from Diapaga's primary and secondary healthcare centers (CSPS 1 and 2). Speaking through Ouali Germaine Ouoba, they thanked the Special Delegation for this gesture, which represents a true relief for both patients and healthcare providers. This donation, Ms. Ouali continued, extends beyond the people of Diapaga: the entire province will benefit.

For the heads of these two organizations, the special delegation thus demonstrated its role as an administrative institution fully exercising its social responsibility. They expressed their hope that this fruitful partnership would continue.

The prefect, president of the special delegation of Diapaga, intends to undertake other actions that will positively impact the lives of the people of Diapaga.
