Dj´r´/Mandatory Patriotic Immersion: Minister Mathias Traor Calls on Conscripts in Gaoua to Become Model Citizens

Hanoi: The Minister of Public Service, Mathias Traor, accompanied by representatives of the Dj´r´ region's constituted bodies, visited the various mandatory patriotic immersion sites in Gaoua. At the end of the visit, he expressed satisfaction with the progress of the training and the skills acquired by the recruits.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this visit is part of the monitoring missions put in place by the State to ensure the smooth running of the mandatory patriotic immersion in the different centers. Minister Mathias Traor stated that this major reform aims to qualitatively and sustainably improve the quality of human resources in Burkina Faso to support the popular progressive revolution.

After visiting all the sites in Gaoua, the minister praised the results observed among the learners, particularly through the demonstrations and behaviors observed in the ranks. He noted that the progress at the learner level is satisfactory, and he congratulated all actors involved in the implementation of the mandatory patriotic immersion.

Minister Traor highlighted the commitment and work of the technical, military, paramilitary, and civilian supervisors who enabled the learners to acquire various skills in a short period. Addressing the conscripts, he encouraged them to continue their training calmly to become "the model citizens" sought for Burkinabe society.

The visit began at the Bafudji Provincial High School in Gaoua, where the minister and his delegation shared breakfast with the students before attending the raising of the colours. The delegation then visited the National Institute for the Training of Education Personnel (INFPE), the Gaoua Municipal High School, and the Tielkan CEG. At each stage, the minister attended demonstrations and at the INFPE site, he also participated in planting trees.
