Dokuy Education Leader Encourages Schools to Promote Local Products

Koosin:The Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Dokuy, Anselme Taro, has called on school principals to encourage students and educational communities to promote local products. This initiative is part of the third edition of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event's theme, "All for Made in Burkina let's make every purchase an act of sovereignty," was highlighted by Inspector Yitiomou Traoré, who delivered a message from the President of Faso, Comrade Captain Ibrahim Traoré. The president urged the Burkinabe people to take pride in the nation's fields, workshops, shops, and tables by prioritizing local production, processing, and consumption.

The call to action was extended to various socio-professional groups, including civil servants, traders, artisans, and women, who are encouraged to support local products and regional cuisine. School principals in Dokuy have been specifically invited to convey this message to students and educational communities starting from Monday, October 12, 2026.

Anselme Taro emphasized using this campaign to instill values of patriotism, citizenship, and support for local products among students. The ceremony concluded with an appeal to incorporate the promotion of "Made in Burkina" into everyday activities, thereby enhancing national expertise and pride.
