Dolo:Bougouriba Emergence A from Dolo claimed victory in the inter-village Maracana tournament final, held at the Dolo public primary school 'A'. They defeated Niceo FC with a score of 1-0 on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the tournament was organized by the Youth Promotion and Professional Integration Service, located within Dolo's town hall. The event was themed "Sport in the service of social cohesion and local development."

Emergence A's lone goal secured them the championship trophy and a first prize of 25,000 CFA francs. Niceo FC, finishing second, received 20,000 CFA francs. Ddbriko and Bèkoro took third and fourth places, earning 15,000 CFA francs and 10,000 CFA francs, respectively.

The chief of the land of Dolo, Loupière Kam, attended the final and blessed the event. Sponsor Kansie Si, represented by Marc Nouma, and co-sponsor Issouf Zebret commended the community's engagement and the fair play exhibited throughout the tournament.

Hadi Sow, the provincial director of Youth, Sports and Employment of Bougouriba, highlighted the ministry's commitment to using sport as a tool for socialization, cohesion, and development. The president of the special delegation of Dolo, Iliassa Oudraogo, led the ceremony with representatives from neighboring communes.

The tournament, which attracted a large audience, aimed to provide a platform for youth sports and healthy competition, fostering stronger community ties. Lamine Coulibaly, chairman of the organizing committee, emphasized the initiative's role in promoting solidarity and local development in Dolo.
