Koudougou:The Higher Teacher Training College (ENS) officially launched its contribution activities for the Faso-Mêbo Nando project on Thursday, October 15, during the National Day of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event, led by the institution's director general, Professor Ousseni So, saw a large delegation from the ENS gather at the Nando site to participate in national construction efforts.

Professor Ousseni So highlighted the significance of October 15 as a memorable day for the nation, chosen by the ENS to demonstrate its commitment to development. In his address, he thanked participants and encouraged them to engage fully in the project, marking the beginning of ENS's contributions for the year 2026.

Continuing the tradition from previous years, each institute within the ENS will dedicate at least one Saturday to activities related to the Faso-Mêbo project. Professor So emphasized that this schedule aims to sustain momentum and reinforce civic engagement among the students and staff.

Pascal Bako, representing the regional coordinator of Faso-Mêbo Nando, expressed gratitude for the ENS's ongoing support, noting that the institution has been involved since the project's inception. He appealed to other public services and individuals to join the efforts, stressing the urgent need for construction materials, particularly fine granite and sand, at the Koudougou site, which has been operational since October 10, 2025.
