Kenedougou: The people of the village of Famberla, located about twenty kilometers from N'dorola, mobilized on Thursday, October 2, 2025, to rehabilitate a degraded section of regional road No. 23 crossing their locality. The initiative came from the village chief, Nabouze Sessouma.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this citizen initiative is part of the dynamic driven by the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, inviting the population to get involved in local development. The community action was preceded by extensive awareness-raising and a contribution organized among each household.
The funds raised were used to rent tricycles and tractors needed for the embankment work. Thanks to the strong mobilization of residents, the work was carried out efficiently, resulting in the rehabilitation of a section which is now passable, to the great delight of users.
Nabouze Sessouma expressed his satisfaction and thanked the population for this collective work.
