Flag-Raising Ceremony at Koukouldi ‘C’ School Highlights Patriotism and Discipline

Ouagadougou: The Koukouldi 'C' public primary school, in the commune of Tenado, hosted the traditional flag-raising ceremony this Wednesday. After having honored the municipalities of Pouni, Zawara, Zamo, Godyr, Kyon and R©o, it is Tenado's turn to receive the High Commissioner of the province for this significant ritual, intended to recall and reaffirm the essential values ??to which the community must adhere.

According to Burkina Information Agency, after witnessing the raising of the flag, performed by a student, Talari Germaine Ouoba urged all workers to innovate and excel in building a free and prosperous Burkina Faso. She also called on the population of the commune to be extra vigilant, in order to thwart any attempt at manipulation aimed at destabilizing the nation or disturbing the peace of citizens.

Mrs. Ouoba recalled the central theme of this day dedicated to patriotic commitments and civic participation, which emphasizes order and discipline. Indeed, she invited each individual to engage in personal reflection to define their role in this revolutionary movement. Quoting the words of the President of Burkina Faso, she emphasized that "one does not make a revolution in disorder," emphasizing the duty of every citizen to be exemplary.

Immersing himself in the realities of daily work, the High Commissioner stressed the crucial importance of living together and working together in a spirit of cohesion, tolerance, dignity, honesty, and mutual acceptance, in order to overcome current challenges. She recalled that every citizen has a sacred obligation to protect and promote ancestral cultural values, which constitute the identity of the nation.

The message to the students was one of encouragement to perseverance and discipline, presented as the keys to success. Following this ceremony, the provincial head visited several schools in Koukouldi and Tenado to learn about their difficulties.
