The President of the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Homeland (CNSP), Head of State of Niger, Brigadier General Abdourahamane TIANI left Ouagadougou this Thursday, late in the evening after a friendship and working visit to our country ; on a note of satisfaction and recognition to the President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE and to the people of Burkina Faso for the solidarity and support shown to the Nigerien people.
This stay allowed the two Heads of State to discuss prospects for strengthening the excellent bilateral cooperation and that between the three countries of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).
In the final communiqué, Presidents TIANI and TRAORE reaffirmed their desire to join forces to meet the challenge of sovereignty and the economic and social development of their Nation in a multipolar world with the sole compass, the superior interests of their peoples. .
