Ganzourgou: The CCEB of Mogt©do Reports 98.36% Attendance at the Start of the Administrative Year

Ganzourgou: The Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Mogt©do, Kiswendsida Kabor©, conducted a supervisory operation of the administrative start of the school year for 2026-2027. The visit revealed an actual attendance rate of 98.36% of staff.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this supervision is an obligation for district officials. It allows them to meet with staff, observe the situation on the ground, and discuss the conditions for the start of the school year with stakeholders.

"The aim of this outing is to be close to the staff, to show them that they are not neglected, to make sure they know they are not alone," explained CCEB President Kiswendsida Kabor©. He added that "people are not just about productivity, they are also about feelings."

The CCEB expressed satisfaction with the attendance levels recorded in the district. According to them, the absences observed were mainly due to new assignments and health restrictions.

At the start of this academic year, the CEB has set itself a goal of 100% success. The CCEB has therefore called upon all staff to maintain their efforts in order to improve academic results during the 2026-2027 school year.

The visit also allowed the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the Mogt©do municipality, Nomwend© Abdoulaye Kanazo©, to meet with education stakeholders. He extended his best wishes for a successful start to the new school year and reiterated his gratitude for the results achieved during the previous academic year.

The PDS encouraged teachers to continue their efforts and reaffirmed the Special Delegation's willingness to support the education sector, within the limits of its capabilities.

The issue of dengue fever was also raised. The PDS called on officials and teachers to contribute to the prevention of the disease, particularly by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in schools.

This field visit allowed the CCEB to take the pulse of the administrative start of the academic year, to note the presence of staff and to reiterate the CEB's objectives for the new school year.
