A total of 34 participants, aged 13 to 27, took part in this activity organized to mark International Women's Day.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative aimed to support young girls in their personal, moral, and spiritual development to better prepare them for their future. During the training, several themes were explored. These included self-knowledge, managing emotions, feelings, joys, and fears. Participants also discussed knowledge of God, sisterhood, sharing, and fraternal communion.

Father Abel Ouali also stressed the importance for young girls of adopting exemplary behavior, worthy of a model Catholic girl, by living according to God's teachings and avoiding deviant behavior. According to the parish priest of Gay©ri, the Catholic Church gives birth to, nourishes, accompanies, and educates its children without distinction or discrimination, hence the importance of guiding young people through this type of initiative.

In addition to theoretical instruction, the participants also benefited from an introduction to the making of "koko-dondo," an income-generating activity that can contribute to their empowerment and personal development. For Tambangou Marceline, president of the parish's young women, this training was very enriching. She indicated that it allowed the participants to learn how to better manage their daily lives and prepare for their future.

This training session is part of the local Church's initiative to promote the education, responsibility, and empowerment of young girls within the community.
