Ouagadougou: The merits of 5 best students from the Tikonti A public primary school were rewarded on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in Fada N'Gourma. It was during the closing of educational activities for the 2023-2024 school year.It is with pride that the Tikonti A public primary school held its award ceremony for the five (05) best students in each class during the closing of educational activities for this 2023-2024 school year.The event, full of joy and emotion, highlighted the dedication and perseverance of the young learners, as well as the unwavering commitment of the teaching team.Amid warm applause from parents, teachers and classmates, deserving students were honored for their efforts in the learning process this year.The director of the Tikonti A public primary school, Aissatou Koadima, stressed the importance of celebrating the successes of each student, whatever their nature and extent.She insisted on the fact that recognition of efforts made, which leads to exceptional results or simple per sonal progress, is essentially to encourage self-confidence and motivation of learners.Deserving students received school kits.Parents and teachers were thanked for their exceptional commitment to student success.Aissatou Koadima indicated that this year, her school achieved a success rate of 92.23% in the Primary Education Certificate (CEP) session with 95 admitted, i.e. 46 girls and 49 boys out of 103 candidates presented.She added that the success rate for the same school exam for internally displaced students is 90.32%.Source: Burkina Information Agency
