Loroum: High Commissioner Bassol© invites technical services to join Titao

The High Commissioner of the province of Loroum, Captain Djibril Bassol©, has called on the heads of technical services to return to the province and resume their activities. This invitation was extended during a consultation meeting held in Titao, where discussions focused on the current state and future plans for service operations in the area.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting provided an opportunity for stakeholders to evaluate the functioning of various services within the province. Sidiki Mand©, the provincial director in charge of basic education and literacy, emphasized that most services are already present on-site, with only a few needing to finalize activities in Ouahigouya before relocating.

Augustin Sama, the provincial director in charge of Youth, highlighted that commitments have been made to ensure an effective resumption of activities in Titao. He noted that each department reported on their operations since their temporary relocation to Ouahigouya, expressing a collective commitment to return to Loroum.

Captain Djibril Bassol© expressed satisfaction with the progress and engagement from the service managers. He urged department heads to take decisive steps for the effective resumption of activities, marking the new year as a fresh start for administrative functions in Titao.

The meeting was attended by presidents of the special delegations of municipalities, along with directors and heads of departments. The gradual improvement of security in the region, following recent reconquest operations, has supported the return of administrative functions to Titao.
