High Commissioner of Nayala Calls for Renewed Commitment to Public Service

Nayala: "Let us renew our commitment to serving the people for even greater results," urges the High Commissioner. The High Commissioner of the province of Nayala, Honor© Fr©d©ric Par©, on Monday invited agents of the public administration, the defense and security forces as well as all local actors to renew their commitment to the service of the people in order to obtain more results, on the occasion of the ceremony of raising the national colors organized at the provincial directorate of the National Police of Toma.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner congratulated the security forces for their efforts in securing the province and the gradual resettlement of several villages. He emphasized that the raising of the colours symbolizes a strong attachment to republican values, such as integrity, loyalty, solidarity, and freedom. "I invite everyone to renew their commitment as a servant of the people for even more results," he stated.

The High Commissioner also expressed his support for students taking school exams beginning this week, urging the population to pray for their success. The provincial director of the National Police in Nayala, Divisional Commissioner Abdoul Aziz Ganam, lauded the mobilization of the authorities and reaffirmed the security forces' dedication to protecting the population.

Ganam encouraged citizens to enhance their collaboration with the Defense and Security Forces to improve co-producing security measures. He highlighted the outcomes of the national security control operation "Wibga-2," which has bolstered the sense of security among the population.

In Nayala, the operation inspected 308 vehicles, 2,282 two-wheeled vehicles, 519 tricycles, and 5,147 people. This led to the seizure and impounding of 59 vehicles, including a minibus carrying 4,000 liters of fuel. Six suspects were arrested, and 524,000 FCFA in fines were collected. Ganam noted that the increasing sense of security among the population underscores the importance of maintaining vigilance against potential threats.
