Dori: The High Commissioner of the Seno province, Yaya Kone, congratulated education stakeholders in the Seno province on Thursday in Dori for the results recorded in the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the Junior High School Certificate (BEPC), 2026 session. He also welcomed the resilience of the province's vital forces in the face of the security context.
According to Burkina Information Agency, speaking after the monthly raising of the national colours in front of the province's constituted bodies, the High Commissioner praised the commitment of the various administrative and community actors. Despite the security challenges, the decentralized services are pursuing their missions with determination, thus contributing to the proper functioning of the administration and the development of the province.
Mr. Kone expressed his deep gratitude to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) as well as to the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). He stressed that the sacrifices made by these forces help to ensure the protection of populations and to preserve an environment conducive to the conduct of socio-economic activities.
The province's top official also congratulated education stakeholders for the results achieved in the end-of-year exams. The province recorded a success rate of 92.42% in the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and 48.67% in the Junior High School Certificate (BEPC), 2026 session. According to him, these performances reflect the combined efforts of teachers, students, parents and educational authorities.
Speaking in turn, the provincial director of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries of Seno, Bourema Dango, reassured the participants about the progress of the agricultural campaign. He indicated that the delay observed in the installation of the wintering season does not compromise production prospects, provided that rainfall continues normally until September.
Through this monthly meeting, provincial authorities welcomed the progress made in the security, education and agriculture sectors. They invited all stakeholders to maintain their commitment in order to consolidate the results achieved for the benefit of the people of Seno.
