Abuja: The High Commissioner observes the preparations for the launch of the mandatory Patriotic Immersion (IPO) 2026. Comrade High Commissioner of the Soum province, Wend N©rWilfried TOUGMA, on Monday, July 27, 2026 in Djibo, visited the site to be hosted by participants in the Mandatory Patriotic Immersion (IPO) 2026, in order to ensure the state of preparations before the official launch of this citizen initiative.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this field visit allowed the top provincial authority to see firsthand the arrangements made for welcoming participants, to check the level of organization of the teams mobilized and to ensure that all the conditions were met for the launch scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

The High Commissioner commended the efforts of the various technical services, the Defense and Security Forces, and all those involved in the organization. He congratulated them on their mobilization and commitment, which demonstrate a collective will to ensure the success of this initiative.

Through the implementation of the IPO, the province of Soum reaffirms its commitment to strengthening civic-mindedness, civic discipline, patriotism and national unity.
