Ioba: On the occasion of the official launch of the baccalaureate exams, session 2026, the high commissioner of the province of Ioba, Innocents Ouattara, called on the 1,109 candidates in his jurisdiction to maintain discipline throughout the examination period to avoid any inconvenience.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of Ioba Province, Innocents Ouattara, officially inaugurated the written exams for the 2026 baccalaureate session at the Ioba Provincial High School (LPI). The ceremony was attended by administrative and educational authorities, alongside defense and security forces, emphasizing the importance of the exams. During the event, the province’s top official visited examination halls to encourage candidates personally.
Ouattara remarked, “We are here this morning to give you confidence. Be disciplined and do not try to cheat to avoid any unpleasantness. Trust your own knowledge and you will pass this exam. We will all see each other again at the mandatory patriotic immersion, I am sure of it. I hope that our province will be the best this year.” His message was clear: integrity and self-reliance are crucial for success.
During the launch, Ouattara opened the envelopes for the first exams, which included philosophy for the A4 series and French for the D series. The Ioba province reported 1,123 registered candidates, of whom 1,109 were present for the exam, comprising 640 boys and 469 girls. These candidates were allocated across five examination boards: the Dano municipal high school accommodated board 24, the Ioba provincial high school boards 25 and 26, and the Dissihn departmental high school boards 27 and 28. The exams covered the A4 and D series.
Joseph Kima, the provincial director of secondary, vocational, and technical education, assured that no difficulties had marred the start of the exams. The High Commissioner expressed gratitude to all those in education, health, and security sectors for their dedication, ensuring the exams proceeded smoothly.
In a compassionate gesture, at the end of the launch, Innocents Ouattara offered assistance to a young nanny, helping console the baby of a candidate who was crying in the courtyard of the LPI.
