Ouagadougou: A traffic accident involving a trailer and a truck carrying gas cylinders occurred this Monday near the market in Darsalamy, in the province of Houet. According to initial reports from the scene, the tragedy resulted in two deaths and three injuries. The injured were evacuated to the Sour´ Sanou University Hospital Center (CHUSS) in Bobo-Dioulasso for medical treatment.

According to Burkina Information Agency, security forces and firefighters quickly deployed to secure the scene, assist victims, and restore traffic flow. The exact circumstances of the accident are still under investigation.
