Ouagadougou: The province of Ioba is preparing, for July 27, the second edition of a march in support of fighters engaged against terrorism and the Transition, the AIB learned on Friday, from the organizers.According to the organizers, this initiative is part of 'unwavering support for the defense and security forces, volunteers for the defense of the homeland and the transition of Burkina.'The demonstration, in addition to the march which will be launched from the Dano Town Hall, according to an indicative program will include a public conference on integrity, a blood drive and a fundraiser to support the fight against terrorism.'Already, I pay great tribute to the FDS and the VDP for their bravery and especially for their sacrifice night and day to ensure security and tranquility for our populations,' reacted Aristide Y. Dabiré, provincial coordinator of support for the FDS, VDP and the Transition in Ioba.At the first edition of this march, on July 29, 2023, the organizers had mobilized 2 million fr ancs for the benefit of the Patriotic Support Fund.Source: Burkina Information Agency
