Ioba: The launch of sports and cultural activities at the Gu©gu©r© Basic Education Center (CEB) marked a vibrant beginning with an exciting football match between Kolkol Primary School and Dakoula Primary School. The match concluded with a penalty shootout, where Dakoula emerged victorious, winning 4-2. The event also included an archery competition, adding to the day's festivities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, during the opening ceremony, Seghnifa Rigobert Som©, the head of the Gu©gu©r© Basic Education District (CCEB), emphasized the importance of instilling values of order and discipline in children. He highlighted that these values are crucial for shaping responsible citizens and building a promising future. Som© also encouraged all participants to adhere to the principles of fair play throughout the competitions.

Representing the president of the special delegation (PDS), Harouna Sanga, the secretary general of the town hall, urged participants to embrace the event's theme and practice it during the competition period. He stated that "nothing serious can be built without order and discipline," reinforcing the message of discipline as a cornerstone for future success.

Sanga also encouraged students to listen to their teachers and maintain order and discipline to grow into responsible individuals and future builders. The event is part of the organization of sports, culture, and leisure at the primary school (OSCLEP), aimed at enhancing the holistic education of students within the Gu©gu©r© CEB.
