Ouagadougou: The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Koper, Zakaria Dao, officially launched the works of the Faso Mbo agency on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The event marked the beginning of an initiative aimed at rehabilitating a foundation slab on the Kpa-Memer road, adjacent to the departmental high school.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the Koper municipal special delegation, Zakaria Dao, commended the civic engagement demonstrated by the local population. He extended his congratulations to all participants for their patriotic spirit and involvement in the project.

During the event, the PDS urged various social groups present to spread awareness within their communities to ensure significant participation in the upcoming work scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026. Dao expressed his satisfaction with the participation of Natacha Somda, the only woman involved in the launch work, acknowledging her dedication to local development and the sovereignty of Burkina Faso.

The PDS also reminded attendees that contributions to the Faso Mbo initiative are being accepted at the Koper town hall, encouraging broad community support. Ms. Somda took the opportunity to invite women's associations to mobilize efforts for the successful implementation of Faso Mbo in the commune of Koper.
