Ivorian Priest Praises Burkina Faso President’s Impact on African Youth

Treviso:Ivorian priest Nestor Ngouandi has commended the efforts of Burkina Faso's President, Comrade Captain Ibrahim Traore, during a gathering in Treviso, Italy. Father Ngouandi considers Traore's leadership a significant example of the growing awareness among African youth.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Father Ngouandi expressed pride in President Traore's actions, stating that they challenge long-standing negative perceptions of Burkina Faso. He noted a shift in the understanding of the country's economic situation, which he believes no longer aligns with outdated views of poverty.

Father Ngouandi, who describes himself as "apolitical," emphasized that Traore's initiatives signal an awakening among the youth, urging them to resist being misled by Western influences. He argued that Captain Traore's struggle extends beyond Burkina Faso, aiming to uplift the entire African continent.

The priest called upon African youth to recognize their responsibilities and support the progressive changes initiated by President Traore, emphasizing the importance of continued encouragement for Africa's path towards independence and emergence. Father Ngouandi concluded by asserting that true independence remains unachieved as long as African nations face external pressures.
