Ramongo: The Ramongo Basic Education District (CEB) celebrated the 3rd edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) on Thursday by raising the colors and sounding the general mobilization in schools. Under the leadership of the Head of the constituency (CCEB), Wendtenda Paul Marie Zoma, education stakeholders mobilized to magnify national symbols and promote economic sovereignty.

According to Burkina Information Agency, responding to the call from the Secretary General of the Ministry of Basic Education, Literacy and the Promotion of National Languages (MEBAPLN), all educational structures in the commune of Ramongo vibrated to the rhythm of patriotic fervor. The highlight of the day was marked by the solemn raising of the colours within the Ramongo-Tanghin A and B schools. On this occasion, the administrative staff, teachers and students, mostly dressed in traditional outfits (Faso danfani and Koko donda), sang the national anthem, the Ditany¨ in the Moore language.

For the CCEB of Ramongo, Wendtenda Paul Marie Zoma, this mobilization aims to translate into concrete actions the theme of the edition, "Let's produce Burkinab¨, let's consume Burkinab¨: our plate, our pride." In his address, Mr. Zoma urged students and teachers to develop a profound awareness. He emphasized the importance of valuing cultural identity, scrupulously respecting state symbols, road safety, and above all, the imperative of consuming local products to support the national economy. "It is about cultivating from a young age love of country and the ideals of dignity advocated by the highest authorities of the country," he stressed.

As a reminder, the JEPPC (Journees d'Education et de Promotion du Culture et du Patrimoine) aim to strengthen social cohesion and the spirit of sacrifice for the building of a sovereign Burkina Faso. In Ramongo, this vision seems to have resonated with the students, who have now become ambassadors for "buying Burkinab¨."
