Kadiogo Education: EBEN-EZER School Complex Celebrates Excellence and Rewards Top Students


Kadiogo: The school council of the EBEN-EZER school complex in Nioko 2 organized its traditional School Excellence Day this Saturday at the school located in the Saaba district. This ceremony recognized the top students of the 2025-2026 academic year as well as those who contributed to the school’s achievements.



According to Burkina Information Agency, in total, 32 students, from first grade to fifth grade, were recognized for their academic achievements, attendance, and good conduct throughout the school year. The award recipients received various prizes designed to encourage their efforts and strengthen their motivation to continue on the path to success.



The awards recognized both individual achievements and the students’ consistent effort throughout the year. Beyond the students, the teachers and the school’s founder also received certificates of recognition and various gifts in gratitude for their commitment to education and student support. This mark of recognition demonstrates the organizers’ desire to value all those who contribute to academic success within the institution.



According to the organizers, this initiative aims to promote a culture of excellence in schools, to value merit and to encourage students to give their best in their studies. The founder of the EBEN-EZER school complex in Nioko 2, Mrs. Marie Lucienne Ouedraogo/Sawadogo, welcomed the holding of this activity which she considers an important lever of motivation for learners.



‘I am very pleased with the initiative taken by the School Council office. This ceremony is an encouragement for the students and a recognition of the work done by the entire educational community,’ she said. She congratulated the winners on their performance and urged them to redouble their efforts, perseverance, and discipline in order to maintain this level of excellence in their academic career.



For the chairman of the school council, Mr. Diane Patrick Baguira, this day is above all a moment of recognition and appreciation of the efforts made by the students, teachers, and those in charge of the establishment. ‘Through this initiative, we want to promote a culture of excellence within our institution and show students that hard work, discipline, and perseverance always pay off,’ he stressed.



He encouraged the students to cultivate the values of hard work, integrity, respect, and responsibility, essential for their academic success and personal development. He also commended the teachers and the school’s founder for their unwavering support of the students.



The award-winning students, in turn, expressed their joy and gratitude at the end of the ceremony. They praised the commitment and generosity of the School Council office, which chose to highlight the students’ efforts and achievements. According to them, this recognition provides additional motivation to pursue their studies with seriousness and determination. They also thanked their teachers, parents, and school administration for their support throughout the academic year.



The ceremony was also marked by the presentation of trophies to the best classes in sports activities, notably the CM1 and CM2 classes, which distinguished themselves during the year.
