He expressed optimism that the year-long efforts would yield fruitful results.
Dr. Denis Vimbou©, Director General of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training in Kadiogo, highlighted the continuity of reforms in exam organization, particularly through the Competency-Based Approach (CBA). He attributed improvements in organization to the accumulated experience of those managing the baccalaureate process.
Dr. Vimbou© also noted a rise in female participation among candidates, attributing this to sustained efforts to enhance girls’ education and ensure their retention in schools. He further mentioned that around 800 internally displaced students were accommodated during the academic year and are taking the exams under the same conditions as their peers.
The initial results from the first round of exams are anticipated in early July, with the second round deliberations scheduled to follow shortly thereafter.
