Kadiogo: Plan¨te Enfant et Developpement organized a day of sharing experiences on Tuesday between directors of early childhood development and preschool education centers and educators in the Kadiogo province. This was a way to share best pedagogical practices. Preschool educators in Kadiogo province benefited from a workshop to share experiences related to teaching practices.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative was part of Plan¨te Enfant et Developpement's project "Investing in Early Childhood," chaired by the Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education of Kadiogo. Approximately 130 educators from Kadiogo were able to exchange ideas in order to share good teaching practices within preschool structures.

At the opening ceremony, Alexandre Yameogo, Provincial Director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education in Kadiogo, emphasized the importance of such an activity. "I hope that this meeting will lead to concrete results and relevant recommendations for early childhood development," said the Provincial Director.

This workshop will allow participants to take stock of the teaching supervisions of the second term and to list the difficulties of the practitioners while proposing some possible solutions. A summary of recommendations and best practices will be produced and shared in the various Early Childhood Development and Preschool Education Centers and on a Plan¨te Enfant et Developpement platform called BOP.
