Kampti: The Evangelical Protestant Church of Kampti, in partnership with CDEJ BF0956, has handed over 39 bicycles to students in the commune, a solidarity initiative aimed at improving access to education and strengthening social cohesion. The handover ceremony was held in the presence of the pastor of the church, the director of the departmental humanitarian action service, the parents of the beneficiary students, and the students themselves, who came in large numbers to express their gratitude.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the director of CDEJ, NadomE Farma, stated that this action addresses a major concern related to difficulties in accessing school. "The primary objective is to enable students to arrive at school on time. The choice of beneficiaries was based on the significant distance between their homes and their schools," he explained.
Speaking at the event, the director of the departmental humanitarian action service praised an initiative that is fully in line with the dynamics of solidarity and social cohesion. "This gesture reflects a genuine chain of solidarity in support of vulnerable groups. By facilitating access to education, we are helping to build a more equitable and resilient society," he said.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, student NoufE Elodie expressed her gratitude to the donors. "We are very grateful for this donation which will help us a lot. We will now be able to come to school without delay and with more motivation," she said.
Through this action, the Evangelical Protestant Church of Kampti and its partner intend to make a lasting contribution to the promotion of education and the development of young people in the community.
